Admin Support (Reception) Volunteer
When: Monday, Wednesday or Friday 9am - 1pm
The Admin Support volunteers assist
and support the Business Administration team with Reception duties and general
admin tasks.
This will
include (but not limited to) manning the main Reception
switchboard, greeting visitors, data input, filing, scanning,
shredding.
Skills
required:
Good
communication skills both verbally and written, good IT
skills (MS Office applications / Email)

Learning
Support Volunteer - Hadleigh Training Centre
When: Monday to Friday 9:30 - 15:30
Learning Support volunteers at Hadleigh Training Centre support
our staff team with the delivery of training pathways which are
personalised to meet the outcomes of every trainee. The trainees
who come to the centre have a range of additional support needs and
a variety of outcomes. Each volunteer will support our trainees to
meet their outcomes, which may include self-esteem, communication,
motivation and general social interaction whilst training in a
specific vocational area.
Skills required:
No experience required, just enthusiasm!

Environmental Champion Volunteer
When: flexible
Environmental Champion volunteers assist and support Hadleigh
Farm Estate in improving stewardship of our local environment.
This could include organising and overseeing practical tasks
such as litter picks across the Estate, tree planting, recycling
initiatives and habitat creation
Skills required:
The ability to work under own initiative and independently, a
passion for the environment, a willingness to learn and be part of
a team, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Rare Breeds Centre Volunteer
When: 7 days a week
Full day 8:30 - 17:00,
Half day 8:30 - 13:00 or 13:00 - 17:00
Rare Breeds Centre volunteers work with our staff team to
maintain high levels of animal husbandry and welfare (including
feeding, cleaning, health care and training) around the Rare Breed
Centre. Tasks will include but are not limited to; cleaning
and re-bedding of animal housing, feeding, providing good customer
service, money handling and helping with animal presentations to
members of the public, educational visits and birthday parties.
Skills required:
The ability to work under own initiative and independently, good
communication skills, awareness of Health & Safety, patience,
the ability and willingness to work as part of a team,good time
management, problem solving skills and are able to think on your
feet, enthusiasm to try new things & a reasonable level of
fitness.

Visitor Engagement Volunteer - Rare Breeds
Centre
When: Seasonal (April to October) 7 days a
week
9:30am to 4pm
Visitor Engagement volunteers provide excellent customer service
to our visitors. They greet visitors, operate the till taking
card payments, explaining procedure in place and keeping the
entrance tidy.
Skills required:
Customer Service experience, good communication skills, the
ability to work under pressure, the ability to work under own
initiative and independently, patience, problem solving skills and
able to think on your feet and accuracy.

Maintenance Volunteer
When: Wednesday or Thursday 10.00am -
3.00pm
Our Maintenance volunteers support our team to carry out site
maintenance and repairs across Hadleigh Farm Estate using a wide
range of tools and equipment.
Skills required:
General DIY skills, awareness of Health & Safety, good
communication skills, patience, ablitiy to work under own
initiative and independently and self- motivation.
