Administrative Assistant 

Salary: £17,849.08

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Details:  Mon - Fri 8.30 - 17.00

Job Summary: 

Hadleigh Farm Estate incorporates Hadleigh Training Centre which provides a realistic training environment for Adults with Extra Support Needs and Barriers to Employment, Catering facilities which include the Tea Rooms and Hub Café, A Commercial Farm, The Rare Breeds Centre which proactively conserves rare species and is a visitor centre and The Hub which is a growing visitor centre which incorporates Sensory Rooms. There is a special working relationship with Essex County Council in relation to the Hadleigh Park Mountain Bike Centre. The Estate is served by a Mission Team and a Chaplaincy Team. We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, organised and confident individual to assist with the routine administration of the Estate.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of Administrative Assistant will undertake a variety of Admin tasks within the busy Business Administration Department and the post holder will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors to the Estate.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working within a busy Administration Department

  • Receptionist Experience

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Experience of working as part of a team

Relief Project Worker (As and when required)

Salary: £9.08 per hour

Working Hours: As and when required

Details: To provide relief cover within Hadleigh Training Centre 

Job Summary: 

Hadleigh Training Centre provides training opportunities to adults with additional support needs in order to meet a range of outcomes. The project worker will plan, and then guide trainees to follow personalised pathways which maximise progression through vocational training in a range of areas including carpentry, horticulture, cycle maintenance, catering and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

The project worker will:

  • Be involved in identifying and enhancing personalised training pathways to maximise progression, focusing on a trainee's strengths and opportunities to increase independence.
  • Create and update learning support plans to provide an awareness of each trainee's abilities, support needs, and agreed strategies to help trainees achieve their goals.
  • Monitor all assessments and reports, and complete any necessary actions, to ensure each trainee pathway is constantly accurate and relevant.
  • Encourage input and participation from each trainee, empowering them to make choices.
