Tea Room

Ideally situated a short stroll away from Hadleigh Castle and the Salvation Army Rare Breeds Centre, the Hadleigh Tea Rooms provide peaceful rest bite for families and friends of the Hadleigh community and beyond.

With idyllic views overlooking Hadleigh Castle, Hadleigh Country Park and the Thames Estuary, our Tea Rooms are in the perfect location for small and large groups.

We strive to offer our customers a relaxing experience. Staffed by Trainees from the Salvation Army Hadleigh Training Centre, our Catering Assistants are friendly, attentive and eager to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, the menu at the Hadleigh Tea Rooms caters for all occasions. The majority of the food on offer in the Tea Rooms is prepared and cooked by our Trainees with love and we think it tastes all the better for it. From cooked breakfasts to jacket potatoes, sandwiches, fresh cakes and cream teas, delicious home cooked food is served with a smile. If you require vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, please call ahead of your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your dietary requirements.

During warmer weather, our terrace is open for visitors to enjoy the stunning surrounding views with your order. Dogs are not permitted within the Tea Rooms but we welcome you to enjoy our sun terrace with your canine companions.

Across the Hadleigh Farm Estate, we strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible. All food and drinks in the Tea Rooms are served using reusable cups, plates and cutlery, and should you require us to refill your water bottle we will be happy to do so free of charge.

We welcome you to enjoy the Salvation Army Hadleigh Tea Rooms and hope to see you again soon. Please feel free to share your experience with us on Facebook and tag us on Twitter.
